Head of the Geotechnical section at Ferrovial Agroman’s Technical Office. Davor holds a PhD in Engineering (Ports and Roads) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. With over 40 years of professional experience, he has dedicated most of his work to geotechnical affairs as well as underground infrastructure development. Simic has an extensive background developing metro projects in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, Sevilla, Lisbon and London, as well as developing tunneling for different high speed train contracts. Davor has authored more than 60 technical publications in books, magazines. He has also participated in several national and international congresses. A professor in different Master degree programmes (AETOS, CEDEX), he is a member of the board at AETOS (Spain’s Association of Tunneling and Underground Infrastructure Works) and SEMR (Spain’s Society for Rock Mechanics).
