Brooke Akins

As a Global Director of ESG for Cintra, I’m responsible for implementing, managing, and reporting Cintra’s ESG strategy and performance to its stakeholders. I hold a B.A. in sociology from the University of Illinois Chicago and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. Before joining Cintra, I served as the Director of Investor Relations and ESG for Virtus Real Estate Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm, supporting fundraising, investor servicing, and ESG strategy development efforts. I enjoy supporting local public school initiatives aimed at readying socioeconomically disadvantaged students for college and careers in STEM-based pathways. In my free time, I like to run and practice yoga.
