Professor of Information Systems at IE Business School since 1990. After obtaining a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela, an MBA from the Institute of Business, a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Information Systems from UCLA , and undertaking postdoctoral studies at Harvard Business School. In his work as a researcher, communicator and consultant he studies the effects of technological innovation upon people, businesses and society as a whole. In addition to teaching at IE Business School, Enrique works as an advisor for several startups as well as established companies, he is a regular contributor to various publications on issues related to the web and technology and since 2003 he has published daily on his personal blog, enriquedans.com, one of the world's most written in the Spanish language.
