Maria Isabel Garcia Aranda

She has been an employee of Ferrovial Agroman for 8 years and has progressed through positions in the Dublin branch in Ireland and London in the United Kingdom. She is currently in charge of institutional relations with stakeholders and communication on the London Underground Northern Line extension project. This project has a budget of more than 700 million euros and a good part of our future relations with the giant London Underground - Transport for London depends on its success. Mabel also forms part of a group within FAUKIE that works to develop and enhance equality and diversity, an area in which she also participates actively on an extra-curricular basis. As an expert in communication and collective behaviour change she recently travelled to the Buyende district in Uganda where she visited the international cooperation project run by the NGO Plan International and Ferrovial within the framework of the “Social Infrastructures” programme. The project aims to improve the access to quality water of fifteen rural communities with restricted access to this basic right. Mabel says that this experience was enormously enriching and has deepened not only her sense of justice and her commitment but her appreciation of the efforts our company is making in favour of environmental protection and sustainable development.
