He is Bridge Design Manager at Ferrovial, with the main goal of developing competitive and sustainable infrastructures in the projects where Ferrovial is involved worldwide and along all its stages (tender, preliminary and detailed design, construction and maintenance advice). Luis is MSc in Civil & Structural engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid with more than 20 years of experience. Recent outstanding projects are Bratislava Danube Crossing (D4R7) and Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (Queensland, Australia). He is also engineer of record of some Ferrovial in-house designed projects as La Vicaria Arch Bridge, Barranco de La Batalla Viaduct or San Carlos Viaduct among others in Spain, and a passionate of bridges and the historical evolution of its design.
