Miya is a heavy civil Project Manager for Webber in Austin, Texas and was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She is responsible for managing large scale roadway reconstruction projects and is passionate about developing young talent and representing women in leadership roles in the industry. She has worked at Webber just over four years and has been in the construction sector for seven years. She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and nearly two years of internship experience. Miya has volunteered in Costa Rica and Louisiana to help rebuild communities and is a committee member for the Women of Webber organization. In her spare time, Miya enjoys hiking with her husband and rescue pups, skydiving, traveling, and cooking.
